Creation: Created in 1967. It replaced US 641 on Sycamore and 12th Sts in Murray, then cut back west over KY 121 on Chestnut St to rejoin US 641. Chestnut had never been part of US 641.
Adjustments: About 1998, US 641 Bus was moved from Sycamore St to Glendale St on its southern end. Sycamore St is no longer a primary route.
