US 541 ALT: Created about 1934 as a partial renumbering of US 541. Ran from US 541 (now US 41 Bus) north to Oak Park, then west on Broadway/7th to US 541 (now US 41 Bus) in Tampa.
US 541 ALT does not appear on any FDOT map I can find, but is on General Drafting, Rand McNally, and a one-off map I found on Facebook.
US 541 ALT was not mentioned in any AASHO documentation. When US 541 was redesignated, the 50th St portion of US 541 ALT plus Broadway west to 40th St became part of US 41. Broadway west to 22nd became par of FL 60. Today Broadway/7th is part of CR 574.
