US 395 Temp #1: Appeared spring 1972 (NVDOT) when US 395 was placed on the new North-South Freeway from 2nd St to N. Virginia St in Reno. Since the frewway south of 2nd St wasn't even under construction yet, a US 395 Temp was established using 2nd St west to Kletzke Ln south back to Virginia St and where the bypass would eventually be built.
In June 1982 (AASHTO), US 395 was placed on the North-South Freeway south from 2nd St back to S. Virginia St. This was when US 395 Temp went away. S. Virginia St between the North-South Freeway and Kletzte Ln became more US 395 Business.

US 395 Temp #2: Appeared in August 2009 (AASHTO) when US 395 was placed on the north half of the Carson City bypass freeway, down to Fairview Dr. Then a US 395 Temp was established on Fairview west to Carson St south to where the south half of the bypass was to connect.
In May 2017 (AASHTO), US 395 was placed on the southern half of the Carson City NV bypass. This eliminated the US 395 Temp routing and all of Carson St became US 395 Business.
