 Creation: Appeared in spring 1972 (NVDOT) as the 3rd US 395 Business, when US 395 was placed on the partially complete North-South Freeway around the east of Reno NV. The south end was Kletzke Ave, which was US 395 Temp.
Adjustments: In June 1982 (AASHTO), US 395 Temp was removed as the rest of the Reno Bypass was opened, and US 395 Business was extended south to today's I-580 Exit 31.
About 1986, US 395 was placed on more new freeway south of Reno, to Neil Rd which it used to get back to S. Virginia St. S. Virginia St from Neil Ave north to the North-South Freeway became an extended US 395 Business.

In May 2003 (AASHTO), US 395 Business was extended south over NV 430 to NV 341/431, then west over NV 431 to US 395. Following NV 431 made no sense because US 395 had to use it to get between Virginia St and the current end of the US 395 Freeway.
In July 2012 (AASHTO), US 395 Business south was truncated to I-580 Exit 25, replaced by a bit of US 395 ALT.
Comments: Virginia St throughout. US 395 Business has disappeared from NVDOT maps but there are still postings up.

 Creation: Appeared June 1989 (AASHTO) as the 4th US 395 Business. This was a result of a request from the city of Ridgecrest CA to try to get travelers to go to Ridgecrest for services. At no point had US 395 ever gotten anywhere near Ridgecrest.

Comments: Uses China Lake Blvd and Inyokern Rd.
US 395 Business is very poorly posted in Ridgecrest.

 Creation: Appeared in August 2009 (AASHTO) as the 5th US 395 Business, when US 395 was placed on the partially complete bypass around Carson City NV. The south end was Fairview Ave, which was US 395 Temp.
Adjustments: In May 2017 (AASHTO), US 395 Temp was removed as the rest of the Carson City Bypass was opened, and US 395 Business was extended south to US 50-395.

 Creation: Appeared November 2024 as the 6th US 395 Business when US 395 was given its western bypass of Olantha and Cartago CA.

Previous US 395 Business's:


 US 395 Bus #1: Appeared June 1958 (AASHO) when current I-215 was completed from US 70-99 (now I-10) Colton north through San Bernardino to Mt Vernon Ave. US 395 Business used Mt. Vernon Ave between US 70-99 and the new freeway.
Not long after, the freeway was completed south of US 70-99 Colton to the Riverside County line. US 395 Business was extended west with US 70-99, then south replacing US 395 on 8th St and La Cadena Dr to the freeway.
Because business routes were not normally in the state highway system and not shown on state official maps, it is difficult to determine when US Business routes went away. California did request adding them through AASHO, but did not seem to request decommissioning them.
Whenever it went away, US 395 Business simply became unnumbered streets. US 395 Bus #2: Appeared October 1961 (AASHO) when the Escondido Freeway was completed east of Riverside. US 395 Business replaced US 395 to the US 91 (now CA 91) Riverside Freeway, then replaced US 60 into downtown Riverside, then followed US 91 Business north back to US 91-395. North of Russell St, Main St and Columbia Ave had never been part of US 395.
Whenever it went away, US 395 Business remains CA 60 Business from I-215 west into downtown and unnumbered Market St, 1st St, Main St, and Columbia Ave.
