Between 1957-64, TN 20 was rerouted at Linden to follow TN 100 northeast a few miles, then east as new state highway to the Lewis/Perry line where it met back up with the previous alignment. The old TN 20 used: S. Mill St/Old State Hwy 13 out of Linden; Old Hohenwald Rd/Stanley Hinson Rd. This is also likely when TN 20 was removed from two Old Linden Rd segments and Kappeler Ln heading east into Hohenwald.
