In November 1976 (AASHTO), there was an approval to relocate US 422 Business. This means that US 422 Business was likely created in early 1976 as a resolution to the US 224 application. Adjustments: In November 1976 (AASHTO), US 422 Business was moved from State St to Sampson St coming off of what is now I-376. State St became secondary but is now again part of US 224.
