In 1933 or 1934, US 350 was rerouted in La Junta again, just using Potter Dr directly to US 50 3rd St.
About 1935, US 350 was rerouted at Simpson to stay east of the railroad to Delhi. The old route: beginning 1000 ft east of MM 25, abandoned NNE about 2000 ft; north abandonded 0.6 miles; northeast abandoned 2.1 miles; CR 111.1 northeast 0.7 miles; abandoned NNE about 0.7 miles; abandoned northeast 3.9 miles; Green Mountain Rd northeast 0.4 miles to CR 121; abandoned northeast about 1.7 miles; CR 88 back to US 350 at Delhi. This appears to also be when US 350 was given a cutoff northeast of Tyrone, leaving behind an abandoned segment that paralleled the railroad the whole way.
Also about 1935, US 350 was moved from the west side to the east side of the railroad between Timpas and Benton, then new alignment further east of railroad. The old route is abandoned along the respective side of the railroad except CR 16.5 and the Timpas Picnic Area access
About 1936, almost 7 miles of US 350 were rebuilt to the east of Ayer. The old route is abandoned directly next to the railroad.
About 1937, US 350 was given a much more direct routing from the Beshoar Jct area to the Earl area. The old route: beginning 0.6 miles west of the current US 160-350 junction, abandoned east, the ENE to the US 160 junction with CR 83; CR 83 north; CR 36 east; CR 85 north to Hoehne; CR 40 east 3.5 miles; CR 91 north 3.4 miles back to US 350.

About 1952, US 350 was extended west through Trinidad to the new US 85-87 alignment (now I-25). This was a replacement for a bit of US 85-87.

About 1961, US 350 had to be rerouted in La Junta because the US 50 railroad underpass just west of Potter Ave was reconstructed in a way that made connecting Potter Ave no longer possible. So US 350 was changed to run Potter Dr/5th St/Barnes Ave to US 50 1st St. It is possible due to how the US 50 RR underpass was reconstructed that US 350 changed routes a little sooner and ended at Barnes Ave at US 50 3rd St before US 50 was moved to 1st St.

It appears that when the US 160 bypass of Trinidad was opened in 1992, US 350 west was truncated to US 160 at Beshoar Jct. West towards Trinidad remained US 160 and Main St in Trinidad westto I-25 became unnumbered.
In May 2012 (AASHTO), US 350 in La Junta was rerouted to use Potter Dr/5th St/Grant Ave to US 50 3rd St.
Comments: US 350 follows the old Santa Fe Trail.

Previous US 350's:

US 350 #2: Explicitly requested by West Virginia November 23, 1928 as the designation for US 50N from Ellensboro WV to Ohio at St. Mary's, which had just been assigned 2 days earlier. There was some agitation in West Virginia about 50S being assigned through Parkersburg (losing 50) and that 50N was going to just get a different number.
On November 24, 1928 AASHO replied that Ohio, being the initiator of the US 50 split routing was not going to accept this change and besides the point, US 350, 450, 550 and 650 were all in use already.
Thus, US 350 did not replace US 50N.
