Creation: Created before 1982 and seems likely this goes back to at least when US 50 still ran through West Union prior to 1971. Runs on Neely Ave between Marie St and WV 18 on the other side of Middle Island Creek. This had been part of WV 18 TEMP in the 1940s.
Adjustments: Between 1997-2003, the bridge over Middle Island Creek was removed and only a pedestrian bridge is there now.
Improvements: Fully paved upon inception; no mutlilane segments
Comment: Despite 90% of the route being the removed bridge, it is still shown on current Doddridge County maps.
