In 1979, TN 105 west was extended out to the new US 51 freeway.

Previous TN 105's:


TN 105 #1: Appeared in 1929 as new routing running from US 45 (now Church St) Henderson southwest to the Hardeman County line.
In 1931 or 1932, TN 105 was extended southwest to TN 18 north of Bolivar
In 1939 or 1940, TN 105 was decommissioned. It may have been truncated to TN 100 first, which was extended west from Henderson in 1937 or 1938 as newly constructed highway. Either way, TN 105 left behind Hearn St/Sanford St into Henderson. The rest of TN 105 was removed from the state highway system. Today it is TN 125 from TN 18 to Silerton; Silerton Rd; TN 225 to Montezuma; Old Montezuma Rd; W. Main St into Henderson.
