 Creation: SC 903 appeared in 1926, running as a short connector between SC 265 and SC 9 (now US 601). This is the only SC 903.
Adjustments: In 1931, SC 903 was extended southeast as new primary routing to SC 35 (now SC 151).
If SC 903 ever used the loop east of SC 265 that is partly S-29-380, it stopped doing so by 1940.
In 1949, SC 903 was extended northeast to its current Lancaster endpoint, replaced a rerouted SC 9.

Between 1987-2005, SC 903 west was truncated to Market St where US 521 Bus/SC 200 was rerouted, leaving behind S-26-351.

Improvements: Fully paved by 1940. Multilane section exists on westernmost couple miles.
Comment: I drove this in 1989 and have no specific recollections about it...
