US 13 Business: Born in 1960 as a renumbering of US 13-A through Windsor. US 13 BUsiness utilizes King St and Granville St through town. US 13 Bus was cosigned with US 17 Bus on the Granville St. portion for over 30 years.
The entirety of US 13 Bus was once the original route of NC 30

US 13 Business #2: The second US 13 Business was born about 2004 as Bethel was bypassed to the east by US 13. This had been US 13 mainline previously. US 13 Business uses Main St. through Bethel and is 100% duplexed with NC 11 Business.
