Over the years, Virginia has used a number of different styles of bridges for its roadways. This page takes a look at them in chronological order.
If you can get pictures of bridges in the Commonwealth (including ones that I only have links to), send them to me. My 1927 entries are ideally what I am looking for - a date, a shot across the bridge if possible, and a photo showing the understructure if possible...for older bridges I will gladly have multiple entries for a single year.
