US 425: n the 1926 Kentucky folder of AASHO documents, there is a map with proposed changes to US 25 in Kentucky and Michigan, including US 425 running from Corbin KY to Knoxville instead of US 25. The map must be older than March 1926 when US 52 was replaced with US 62 across WV/VA.
There is no document that seems to go with this map to explain who floated this or why. At this time Kentucky was trying to get an x0 route across the state. |
