Creation: Appeared in 1953 or 1954 running from US 31 Berry Hill to US 41-70S southeast of Nashville.
Adjustments: In 1983, TN 155 was added to all the completed parts of Briley Pkwy, some of which date to the late 1960s. TN 155 became 2 pieces: the original TN 155 was extended north and then west to end at US 31W-41 in northern Nashville, and a separate segment from US 70S in Belle Meade north to Centennial Blvd.
By 1986, a 3rd segment was created when Briley Pkwy was finished as new freeway between I-24 and Brick Church Pike in northern Nashville.
