NC 345-A: Implied to have been born by 1929. It is shown but not labeled on the 1929 Official and the 1930 Dare County Map. It ran from NC 345 Wanchese southeast to the Roanoke Sound. The 1944 Dare County Map incorrectly labels as NC 345. The 1949 and 1957 Dare County Maps explicitly label NC 345-A.
Between 1958-62, NC 345-A was downgraded to SR 1141 but not long after that it became the current south end of NC 345.
