South(west)bound I-81 at the 11/460 exit just east of Christiansburg.  Until the late '90s, the US 460 Christiansburg bypass did not connect to I-81, and BUS 460 began about a mile west of here.  With the bypass connection to I-81, US 460 was rerouted to that connection and the C/D roads along I-81, while BUS 460 was extended east to here.  Photo by Mapmikey.
