SC 518 ALT: Appeared in 1942 as new primary routing, running as a 0.1 mile connection between SC 518 (now S-16-19) and SC 763 (now US 401) southwest of Darlington.
In 1946, SC 518 ALT was downgraded to S-16-19 Spur, which no longer connects to S-16-19 and its pavement was removed in 2013 or 2014.
