SC 310
From: US 176 Holly Hill (Orangeburg County)
To: SC 6 Vance (Orangeburg County)

 Creation: Resurrected as a state route in 1949. Ran as it does today.
Adjustments: SC 310 originally appeared in 1939 as new routing, running the way it does now. The piece between Vance and SC 6 may have been part of SC 45's original routing, but maps are somewhat vague on this.
In 1948, SC 310 was downgraded to a secondary route before resurrecting in 1949.
Improvements: Paved in 1949; no multilane sections
Comment: SC 310 has a brief multiplex with TRUCK SC 453.

 
 
SC 311
From: US 176 Sandridge (Berkeley County)
To: SC 6 Cross (Berkeley County)

SC 6: 9.2 - 9.2
 Creation: Appeared as a new state route in 1925 or 1926, running from SC 31 (current US 176) to SC 46 (current SC 6) Cross.
Adjustments: In 1931 or 1932, SC 311 was extended east to a realigned SC 46. SC 311 ended 2 miles north of Pinopolis (in what is now under Lake Moultrie). SC 311 was 16 miles long.
The 1941 Esso Map shows SC 311 rerouted to end at SC 6 near Moncks Corner, for a maximum distance of 19 miles.
1942, SC 311 east was truncated to its current routing, as SC 6 was taken around the new Pinopolis Reservoir (Lake Moultrie today).
Improvements: SC 311 was fully paved by 1948; no multilane sections exist.
Comment: SC 311 is a useful short cut from Moncks Corner to Orangeburg...

 
 
SC 312  not currently assigned
Previous SC 312's: SC 312: Appeared in 1941 or 1942 as new primary routing. Ran from SC 3 (current US 278) Kline to SC 300 in southeastern Barnwell County, a distance of 5 miles.
In 1948, SC 312 was downgraded to S-6-39.
SC 313  not currently assigned
Previous SC 313's: SC 313:Appeared in 1941 or 1942 as a renumbering of a piece of SC 390. Ran from SC 39 Williston north to SC 390 (current S-2-22) for a distance of 3 miles.
SC 313 was downgraded to S-6-13 and S-2-22 SPUR in 1948.

 
 
SC 314
From: US 15 Four Hole Swamp (Orangeburg County)
To: US 176 just west of Holly Hill (Orangeburg County)

 Creation: Appeared as new routing in 1937 or 1938, running as it does now.
Adjustments: None
Improvements: Paved in 1949; no multilane sections
Comment: US 15 is signed for Holly Hill from I-26 EB, and SC 314 is how you actually accomplish this movement.

 
 
SC 315  not currently assigned
Previous SC 315's: SC 315: Appeared in 1940 as new routing. Ran from SC 47 Elloree southwest to the Orangeburg-Calhoun Line west of a very brief SC 31 (current US 176) multiplex.
In 1941 or 1942, SC 315 was extended west to SC 4 (current US 301) 2 miles west of current I-26, for a total of 11 miles.
SC 315 was downgraded to S-38-50, S-9-19, S-9-15, and S-38-35 in 1948.

 
 
SC 316  not currently assigned
Previous SC 316's: SC 316: Appeared in 1941 or 1942 as new routing. Ran from SC 33 near the Flea Bite Creek Bridge to SC 315 (current S-9-15) in southern Calhoun County.
The 6 miles of SC 316 were downgraded to S-9-27 in 1948.

 
 
SC 317  not currently assigned
Previous SC 317's: SC 317 #1: Appeared in 1941 or 1942 as new primary routing. Ran from US 21-SC 2 (now US 21-176) Sandy Run west to the Lexington-Calhoun Line for a distance of 4 miles.
In 1948, SC 317 was downgraded to S-9-31.

SC 317 #2: Opened as new 4-lane construction around 1974-75. Ran from US 501 near the Intracoastal Waterway north to US 17 in the Briarcliffe area.
The 7 miles of SC 317 became part of the US 17 Myrtle Beach Bypass around 1983.
SC 318  not currently assigned
Previous SC 318's: SC 318: Appeared in 1941 or 1942 as new routing. Ran from SC 233 (current S-41-29) to SC 193 near Ward, a total of 2 miles.
In 1948, SC 318 was downgraded to S-41-45.
SC 319
From: US 501 Aynor (Horry County)
To: US 701 Homewood (Horry County)

 Creation: Appeared as a renumbering of a realigned US 501 in 1950. I have found no other SC 319's in history.

Improvements: SC 319 was fully paved when designated; no multilane sections exist.
Comment: SC 319 was once part of today's SC 38, the only way to Myrtle Beach...
