Begins at US 64 near Peachtree and ends at US 19-74-129 Marble, all within Cherokee County

History:

NC 141 was born about 1983 as an upgrade to SR 1519.
In Feb 2010 (NCDOT), NC 141 was extended south to the new routing of US 64, using a part of old US 64 and a little SR 1548.

The first NC 141 was born in 1954 as new primary routing, running from US 74-76 near Freeman north to NC 53 near Atkinson.
NC 141 was renumbered as part of NC 11 in 1975.

Comment:

NC 141 is a simple short-cut from US 64 to US 19 but I don't know how many people want to make this movement.
