SC 643: Appeared in 1940 as new primary routing from SC 641 (now S-5-8/31 junction) at Rivers Bridge State Park north to SC 334 (now S-5-23).
In 1942, SC 643 south was extended southwest replacing SC 641 to meet the modern SC 641 just inside Allendale County. the 1942 official omits the extension but it is shown on county maps. In 1946, SC 643 was downgraded to S-3-8, S-5-8, and S-5-19 south of SC 64 and S-5-23 (now also S-5-19) north of SC 64.
