SC 250: Appeared in 1936 or 1937 as new primary routing from US 25 (now S-23-27) Donaldson north around the west side of Greenville to US 276 south of Marietta.
In 1947, SC 250 south was truncated the short distance to a rerouted US 25, leaving behind S-23-18.
By 1953, SC 250 was removed from Old White Horse Rd/Pensleton Dr loop in West Greenville.
In 1956, SC 250 was rerouted at its northern end to instead end at US 25-276 just north of Furman University. This was a mix of new construction and an upgrade to S-23-170. The old route to the Marietta area became S-23-199.
In 1968 or 1969, SC 250 was renumbered as part of US 25. SC 250 stuck around long enough to have interchanges with I-85 and I-185.
