In 1947, SC 213 west was truncated to Ridgeway leaving behind a little US 21 (now US 21-SC 34 CONN) and S-20-30, which was built over to US 321.
About 1948, SC 213 was placed on new alignments that changed its western end to a little further north on US 21 in Ridgeway leaving behind today's S-20-159. New alignments all the way into Kershaw County were in place, leaving behind: anadoned lengthy loop centered around S-20-650; S-20-67 loop; Taylor Ln/Leonard Ln loops into Kershaw County; S-28-55 to S-28-303 south; Sparrow Ln loop.
