The Road: Begins at NC 58 below Hookerton and ends at US 13-258 Lizzie, all within Greene County
Towns and Attractions: Greene Co: Hookerton
History: NC 123 appeared in 1932 as new routing. It ran from US 258/NC 12 (now NC 58) to Hookerton. This had briefly been part of NC 12 in the early 1920s.
In 1938, NC 123 was extended north to NC 102 (now NC 903) Maury.
In 1951, NC 123 was extended north to US 258 Lizzie.
